Textile floor | Tarpaulin
The floor of our Shieldex® EMC Enclosure is a special combination of metallized material and tarpaulin that provides excellent shielding.
The metallized layer consists of silver, copper and nickel and provides excellent shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electrostatic discharge (ESD). The tarpaulin layer also provides a robust and durable base for the tent. Our floor solutions are therefore perfect for use in demanding environments and offer reliable protection for sensitive electronic devices and measuring instruments.
Aluminum panels
For large test items and large Shieldex® EMV Enclosure, we offer aluminum panels as a floor option. The thickness of the panels can be adjusted if necessary. Aluminum panels are specifically designed for large, 5-sided enclosures that require a large screened floor. Please note that the aluminum panels cannot be anodized. The advantage of aluminum panels is their compatibility with large specimens and large tents as they provide a stable base.
